Row Test Rounds 12-14: Which supplements work best for the 500 meter row test?
So lack of posting makes me not happy. SO…I am back. I actually thought about dropping blogging altogether. It almost felt like i stepped on a time bomb that went off exactly when it was supposed to. It’s very weird though, how things happen in life: i might be listening to the radio and songs about “not giving in” or “not giving up” or even watching TV when i see the latest trailer for the new movie “Jobs” when Ashton Kutcher (who plays Mr. Jobs) says something to the like that only crazy people can change the world….well it fits, at least the crazy part (so I am told)…but i still don’t know if I am really making a difference anymore. I even had someone unsubscribe to my email list. Stuff like that makes you question if what you are doing is what you are supposed to be doing….
Which in turn leads me to a second point: while i wasn’t working, blogging, or writing things to blog about, i found myself surfing the web. I came upon a very unusual site, AverageFrog.com. For years now, i have tried to be average at everything, having no specialty. I thought i could be the user of all tools, master of none but to my dismay i actually feel myself regressing on certain things.
Average Frog.com has a very neat little tool, called Element that helps you analyze your strengths and weaknesses. I decided I am going to join and see what my results are. Here is a little image of what the tool outputs:
That will probably result in another post and I apologize for the digression. Back to results of testing (which i continued even though i was doubting if i was going to post them again)
So this weeks full breakdown including the control group which i posted here
1-1:42 hr 148 134 recovery
2-1:36 HR:157 147 recovery
***I noticed on this supplement for my 3rd round that my time was a second slower but my HR (heart rate) was actually higher. This was something i did not expect on this particular supplement, i thought it would have happened with Supplement #4 instead.
So today is back to Supplement #4, testing to resume in about 20 minutes or so.
I will keep on keepin on. Writing is an outlet for me and i have come to see that I am writing for only myself. If you read this, thank you. If you don’t, no biggie. At least that’s what i keep telling myself.
*Update Supplement #4 end of week 3
So here is the last supplement of week 3
Row#1-1:32 HR 156 (starting HR78, recovery 134)
Row#2-1:33 HR 167, (154 recovery)
Row#3-1:31 HR 167 (142 recovery)
